WHY SHRINK WRAP

Tarps come loose. Shrink wrap doesn't.

A loose tarp is the difference between a machine that arrives clean and one that arrives damaged. Wind chafes the cover. Water pools in folds. Dust gets underneath. By the time the equipment is uncovered, the surface is marked, the electronics are at risk, or the rust has already started.

Heat-shrunk industrial film fits drum-tight to the contours of your equipment. It doesn't flap, it doesn't chafe, and it stays sealed for months — through rain, snow, road wind, and outdoor storage in Eastern Ontario weather.

WHY SHRINK WRAP

Wrap it before it leaves the dock

When equipment ships flatbed or open-trailer, the cover is the only thing between your investment and 800 km of highway. We come to your facility and wrap finished machinery before it leaves — sealed tight to the contours, secured to the skid, and ready for road wind and weather without flapping or tearing.

  • Form-fits irregular shapes, oversized loads, and crated equipment

  • Withstands flatbed transit and chain tie-downs without splitting

  • Meets customer receipt requirements (wrapped before delivery acceptance)

  • Same-week scheduling across Eastern Ontario

OUTDOOR STORAGE

Equipment that sits in the yard, fully sealed

Capital equipment often arrives months before installation is ready — HVAC units, conveyor sections, modular trailers, complete production lines. Sitting outdoors, exposed steel rusts, fan belts get chewed by mice, and the project budget pays for it later. We wrap each unit with vented, UV-stable film designed to hold up through Canadian winters and full seasons of weather.

  • Vented to prevent condensation and internal corrosion

  • UV-stabilized film for long-term outdoor exposure

  • Sealed against pests, dust, and water ingress

  • Removed cleanly when the equipment is ready for install

TOOLING & LONG-TERM PRESERVATION

Idle dies, tooling, and reusable equipment

Stamping dies, injection molds, and reusable tooling can sit unused for years between production runs — but corrosion never stops. We wrap idle tooling with desiccant-compatible film, creating a sealed environment that holds up in warehouse storage or outdoor yards. When the tooling is needed again, the film comes off, and the surface is exactly as it was.

  • Compatible with desiccant packs for full corrosion control

  • Freight-grade or long-term-grade film, indoor or outdoor

  • Custom zipper-door access for inspection without re-wrapping

  • Removed and disposed of cleanly — film is recyclable

WHY HEAT-SHRUNK VS. TARP

Drum-Tight Means Zero Flap. Zero Chafing. Zero Re-Wraps.

A tarp is rated for the moment it's installed. Heat-shrunk film is rated for the entire length of exposure — the way the cover behaves on day 1 is the way it behaves on day 90. Higher up-front, lower total cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: What can you shrink wrap?

We shrink wrap industrial machinery, equipment, freight/cargo, tooling, construction materials, and specialty items. If it needs protection for shipping or outdoor storage, we can typically wrap it.

Question 2: Do you offer on-site (mobile) shrink wrapping?

Yes. We come to your facility, yard, jobsite, or storage location with the tools and materials needed. This saves time and eliminates the need to transport equipment to a shop.

Question 3: Can shrink wrap protect equipment during shipping and transport?

Yes. Industrial shrink wrap creates a tight, weather-resistant barrier that helps protect against rain, snow, road debris, dust, and contamination during transit. It’s commonly used for flatbed loads and oversized shipments.

Question 4: How long does a typical job take?

Most projects can be completed the same day once scheduled, depending on size and complexity. We’ll confirm timing after we review the item dimensions, access, and site conditions.

Question 5: Is shrink wrap suitable for long-term outdoor storage?

Yes. Properly installed shrink wrap helps keep assets clean and dry for extended storage. Venting and correct installation techniques reduce moisture issues and help prevent damage over time.

Question 6: What information do you need to quote a project?

Item type, approximate dimensions, location (city/site), timeline, and whether it’s for shipping or storage. Photos help a lot, especially for oversized equipment or irregular shapes.

Question 7: Are you insured and compliant for industrial jobsites?

Yes. We carry liability insurance and meet common jobsite safety requirements (WSIB compliance, WHMIS, Working at Heights, and hot-work/site rules where required), so vendors can be approved faster.
