WHY SHRINK WRAP

Tarps don't hold a jobsite.

Tarps and bungee-tied sheeting flap open in the first real wind, leak dust onto floors below, and peel off scaffold frames overnight. The foreman calls it in, the superintendent reschedules trades, and a windy week pushes the critical path.

Heat-shrunk film fits drum-tight to the scaffold or opening and stays sealed for the full job. Contains dust and debris in the work zone. Fire-retardant grade available for hot work zones. Zipper-door access points let crews move materials without cutting the cover. Film stock is recyclable.

SCAFFOLD ENCLOSURES

Repointing, masonry, and heritage work year-round

Masonry repointing, stone restoration, heritage exterior work. We wrap the full scaffold into a sealed enclosure — drum-tight, sealed at the parapet, anchored at grade. Heat the enclosure if the work needs it.

  • Drum-tight seal holds through high wind without flapping

  • White film gives shadow-free interior light for masonry work

  • Heatable enclosure extends the masonry season through winter

  • Fire-retardant grade for hot work permit zones

OUTDOOR STORAGE

Equipment that sits in the yard, fully sealed

Capital equipment often arrives months before installation is ready — HVAC units, conveyor sections, modular trailers, complete production lines. Sitting outdoors, exposed steel rusts, fan belts get chewed by mice, and the project budget pays for it later. We wrap each unit with vented, UV-stable film designed to hold up through Canadian winters and full seasons of weather.

  • Vented to prevent condensation and internal corrosion

  • UV-stabilized film for long-term outdoor exposure

  • Sealed against pests, dust, and water ingress

  • Removed cleanly when the equipment is ready for install

DUST & DEBRIS CONTAINMENT

Active renovations, occupied buildings, abatement-adjacent work

Hospitals, schools, institutional facilities, tenant-active office towers. We wrap full-room partitions, ceiling-to-floor barriers, equipment enclosures, and access corridors. Dust stays in the work zone, the building stays running.

  • Floor-to-ceiling sealed barriers for occupied spaces

  • Opaque white film contains dust, debris, and paint overspray

  • Zipper-door access points keep the seal intact

  • Coordinates with abatement-adjacent and infection-control requirements

EMERGENCY WEATHER BARRIERS

Missing windows, fire damage, schedule gaps

Windows held at the border, replacement panels behind schedule, fire damage opened a structure. The site needs a cover that goes up today. We mobilize same-day and wrap openings or full sections into a sealed barrier that holds for weeks — not days.

  • Same-day mobilization across Eastern Ontario

  • Seals window openings, wall sections, and roof gaps

  • Holds through full storm exposure — no re-tying

  • Removes cleanly when permanent installation starts

WHY HEAT-SHRUNK VS. TARP

Drum-Tight Means Zero Flap. Zero Chafing. Zero Re-Wraps.

A tarp is rated for the moment it's installed. Heat-shrunk film is rated for the entire length of exposure — the way the cover behaves on day 1 is the way it behaves on day 90. Higher up-front, lower total cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: What can you shrink wrap?

We shrink wrap industrial machinery, equipment, freight/cargo, tooling, construction materials, and specialty items. If it needs protection for shipping or outdoor storage, we can typically wrap it.

Question 2: Do you offer on-site (mobile) shrink wrapping?

Yes. We come to your facility, yard, jobsite, or storage location with the tools and materials needed. This saves time and eliminates the need to transport equipment to a shop.

Question 3: Can shrink wrap protect equipment during shipping and transport?

Yes. Industrial shrink wrap creates a tight, weather-resistant barrier that helps protect against rain, snow, road debris, dust, and contamination during transit. It’s commonly used for flatbed loads and oversized shipments.

Question 4: How long does a typical job take?

Most projects can be completed the same day once scheduled, depending on size and complexity. We’ll confirm timing after we review the item dimensions, access, and site conditions.

Question 5: Is shrink wrap suitable for long-term outdoor storage?

Yes. Properly installed shrink wrap helps keep assets clean and dry for extended storage. Venting and correct installation techniques reduce moisture issues and help prevent damage over time.

Question 6: What information do you need to quote a project?

Item type, approximate dimensions, location (city/site), timeline, and whether it’s for shipping or storage. Photos help a lot, especially for oversized equipment or irregular shapes.

Question 7: Are you insured and compliant for industrial jobsites?

Yes. We carry liability insurance and meet common jobsite safety requirements (WSIB compliance, WHMIS, Working at Heights, and hot-work/site rules where required), so vendors can be approved faster.
